1. What Information Do We Collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us. The categories of personal information we collect include:

  • Identity and contact data — your name and email address
  • Account credentials — username, password (stored hashed), and authentication identifiers
  • Billing and payment data — payment instrument details, billing address, and transaction history (processed and stored by Stripe, not by us)
  • User content — brands, queries, prompts, keywords, and other inputs you submit to the Services
  • Support correspondence — the content of emails, chat messages, and other communications you send us

Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.

Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you choose to make purchases, such as your payment instrument number, and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is handled and stored by Stripe. You may find their privacy notice here: https://stripe.com/privacy.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information automatically collected

In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device characteristics, and product-usage behavior — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. The categories of information automatically collected include:

  • Usage data — pages and features viewed, buttons and links clicked, time and date of visits, referring/exit URLs, and other product-interaction data
  • Device and technical information — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type and identifiers, language preferences, and screen/viewport dimensions
  • Approximate location — derived from your IP address (country, region, city)
  • Session replay — to help us understand how the product is used and fix bugs, we collect session replays that record page interactions such as clicks, scrolls, and navigation paths. Sensitive fields (passwords, payment inputs) are automatically masked. These replays are processed by PostHog on our behalf (see Section 3).
  • Cookies and similar technologies — we and our service providers use cookies, local storage, and similar identifiers to operate the Services, maintain your session, remember preferences, and measure usage (see Section 4).

This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

In Short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

  • To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts
  • To deliver and facilitate delivery of services to the user
  • To respond to user inquiries and offer support
  • To send administrative information
  • To protect our Services and prevent fraud
  • To comply with our legal obligations

3. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?

In Short: We may share information in specific situations described in this section and/or with the following third parties.

We may need to share your personal information in the following situations:

  • Service Providers. We engage third-party vendors, consultants, and other service providers who perform services on our behalf and process personal information under contracts that restrict their use of that information to providing services to us. The categories and key vendors we currently use include:
    • Cloud hosting and infrastructure — to host our application, databases, and storage
    • Payment processing — Stripe (privacy notice), which processes and stores payment and billing information on our behalf
    • Product analytics and session replay — PostHog (privacy notice), which collects product-usage events and session replays on our behalf
    • AI service providers — Anthropic (privacy notice) and other large language model (LLM) providers, which process the queries and inputs you submit to power our AI features (see Section 5)
    • Transactional and marketing email — email delivery providers that send account, billing, and product-update messages on our behalf
    • Error monitoring and logging — application-performance and error-tracking providers that receive diagnostic data (which may include IP address and limited request metadata) to help us detect and fix bugs
    • Customer support tooling — providers that help us receive, triage, and respond to your support inquiries
  • Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
  • Affiliates. We may share your information with our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Notice. Affiliates include our parent company and any subsidiaries, joint venture partners, or other companies that we control or that are under common control with us.
  • Legal obligations and rights. We may disclose your information where required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a lawful government request, or where necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

4. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?

In Short: We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services and to understand how they are used. We do not use cookies for advertising.

We and our service providers use cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to gather information when you interact with our Services. We use these technologies for the following purposes:

  • Strictly necessary. To authenticate you, maintain your session, remember your preferences, secure the Services, prevent fraud, and enable core functionality. These cannot be switched off without breaking the Services.
  • Product analytics and session replay. To understand how users navigate and use our Services so we can debug issues and improve the product. This is powered by PostHog (see Section 3), which sets cookies or local-storage identifiers on our behalf and records the product-interaction and session-replay data described in Section 1.

We do not use cookies or similar technologies to display targeted or cross-site advertising, to build advertising profiles, to send abandoned-cart reminders, or to share information with advertising networks or data brokers.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you do, some features of the Services may not function as intended. Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

Our servers are located in the United States. Regardless of your location, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored by, and processed by us in our facilities and in the facilities of the third parties with whom we may share your personal information (see “When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?” above), including facilities in the United States and other countries.

If you are a resident in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, then these countries may not necessarily have data protection laws or other similar laws as comprehensive as those in your country. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

9. Do We Collect Information from Minors?

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided in the section “How Can You Contact Us About This Notice?” below.

However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

If you have questions or comments about your privacy rights, you may email us at contact@aibread.com.

11. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
